About

About AAUW Duluth

AAUW Duluth is a local branch of the American Association of University Women. Our members bring a wide range of professional, educational, and life experiences to the organization, united by a commitment to advancing equity.

Our branch has a long history of supporting educational opportunities, encouraging women and girls to pursue leadership, creating opportunities for thoughtful discussion, and engaging with issues affecting our community.

Our work takes many forms—from scholarships and educational programs to public-policy discussions, community events, focus groups, and opportunities for members to connect with one another.

We believe that meaningful change happens when people bring their knowledge, experience, curiosity, and energy together.

Our Mission

AAUW works to advance gender equity through education, advocacy, philanthropy, and research, with a focus on removing barriers that affect women and girls and promoting equity for people of all gender identities.

AAUW Duluth puts that mission into practice locally through educational opportunities, scholarships, programming, community engagement, and advocacy.
