I am excited to share all the behind-the-scenes happenings with you since July 1st. We are graced with new leaders, new ideas, and new energy! We also hope that you will step up and share the load so that a few don't overwork and burn out!! Immediate changes are a monthly newsletter and monthly dinner meetings with programs. Thank you to those of you who have been leaders and are now passing the torch. Thank you to new board members: Angela, Sarah Korpi, Theresa, Lynn, Judy and Cathy Amiel.
As you are able, please step up and add your contributions! Currently we are hoping for more program help for Judy and Cathy and some people to help sort and sift policy information with Lynn, the new policy chair. We look forward to renewed focus on our mission, and efforts to revitalize our branch of AAUW.

Zeigeist Afternoons/Film Conversation
Extra Invitation: September 17, 2026, 5pm-8pm community showing at Zeigeist Zinema ofNo Country for Mothers hosted by the Duluth YWCA. Free, but tickets must be reserved in advance. Seats limited. Monthly Zeitgeist group new meeting time second Tuesday of the month at 4pm. Group email sent a few days before with information on film selections. Members reply ALL with their intention (so we can inform the cafe of group size). All welcome for food, drinks and conversation afterwards. Round Table Discussions
We would like to reimagine the Round Table Discussions as a place for serious and
focused conversation on relevant topics. The previous format seems to have lived its
life, according to the leader, and new ideas are needed. If you are interested or willing
to help think about this please let us know.
Invite A Friend
Members are encouraged to invite a friend, colleague, neighbor, or family member to an
upcoming program or gathering so they can learn more about AAUW.
If you missed the August garden party, it was fun, well attended, and the food terrific. Thanks to Bonnie for sharing her lovely community room with us.
